Anyway, I did tell the doctor this morning about the "small belly" comments, he kind of giggled a bit and said that pregnant women are like magnets, they attract all sort of comments! Amazingly, he took out a measuring tape and measured my belly which is an indication of the number of weeks plus or minus 3 and I measure 31!
Elvis still head down and all looks good! Doctor thinks it's very likely it will now stay in that position. Placenta not checked but we'll have a better look in two weeks (my next appointment!) and we'll schedule the more accurate scan then for 34 weeks.
Urines checked out great so nothing to worry about there either.
Crazy week in work, but only 3 weeks till the end of term, so I'm singing in my head "I will survive"!! Love to all and once again thanks so much for your support!

Oh Yay! I'm so glad the OB visit went well. And I love your doctor - especially that he actually measured your belly for your peace of mind! Glad to hear Elvis is doing so good, and is in appropriate position!
You WILL survive! I hope these weeks until the end of term fly by for you. Glad that all is well with Elvis.
Happy Day! I am so happy the visit went well! And three weeks is not too bad....you will survive! HUGS my friend!
So glad to hear that all is well. Not much longer now!
I know I'm a little bit late with this, but about the small belly thing, I always looked small during my pregnancy. People thought I was still in the second trimester just a few weeks before I was due. It doesn't matter how you look. Everyone carries their babies differently.
Good luck on the last couple of weeks. They're the hardest physically, but they're also the best. You're going to meet your baby soon.
So glad the dr reassured you that your belly is just fine! Let the countdown begin!
Great news! And even better that you only have 3 weeks left of term!
Funny!!! Glad your belly measured Perfect:))) Take Care
Hello, friend. Sorry I missed the last post. You can add me to the list of people who received comments about how small I looked pregnant. My boy was 9 pounds at birth! Thank goodness neither of us was bigger!
And congratulations on reaching the 30-week milestone! Both you and Elvis appear to be doing wonderfully. These final 10 weeks will tick away quickly!
I am glad to hear about our great appointment! such a great doc you have, btw;)
Everything seem to progress great for you. Yay! for getting sooo close to end term!:)
Fran, you are such an inspiration and I'm thrilled to hear Elvis is on track. What a great thing to get this term over with and get time to relax for these next few weeks leading up to Elvis' arrival.
Also thought of you as the Mr. perused his copy of C&E news on molecular mechanisms of fertility.
OUTSTANDING!!!
Three weeks? Sheesh time is FLYING BY Fran!!!!
Well ma'am...you are just trucking right along with this pregnancy, huh??!!
So glad to see that things continue to go well. The finish line is in sight, and I assure you, it is worth the wait:)
Yeah! I'm so happy that everything is going so well for you and Elvis. :-)
I left you a little award on my blog :)
Everything I was going to say about this post you already said. lol I was going to say as long as your belly is measuring on target, you should be good. Then you said you did. Then I read your next post and was going to comment about the strength of abdominal muscles only to read on and see that your friend already said that.
All I have left to say is that I bet people think they are paying you a compliment when they make comments about the size of your belly. I am sure most pregnant women don't want to hear how big their bellies are. You know, the ones who get pregnant easily. I don't know which is worse though, hearing your belly is small or having people say crap like, "When are you gonna pop?" I HATED it when people said that to me. Mostly because it sounds crass. lol
Your belly is perfect. The end. :)
