Attic update

Well, of course I'm also 4dp5dt but I don't feel like blogging about it and decided to update on the attic project! The drawings are ready and the architect has now sent them to the developers for approval (we need their approval to apply for planning permission). Below I attach a few pics!

This is the overall view of the house from the side, the stairs are not visible but of course they're there!

And this is a close-up of the floor plan!

We really like it and hopefully we'll have the work done in the summer! I imagine having a wooden floor like Canadian maple and tiles in the bathroom with a green-yellow colour. I want this room to be bright and full of positive energy where I'll be doing my meditation and guests will want to stay forever!

Wow amazing! I may have to come visit and then I may not want to leave huh? You come to Cairo with your baby(ies) and me to Ireland with mine, deal? But our home is a work in progress, but at least we do have a furnished guest room, LOL! xoxoxo

Oh, and I'll come (with baby/babies) with Wishing 4 One (and her baby/babies) and we'll travel together and visit Sweden where I'm from and then to Cairo!

It looks so nice! You must be so excited to get it finished.

Thanks for your comment in my blog. I do appreciate it. Alas, I am not a patient person and I feel like my eggs are getting older and older by the minute, so time is a wastin. And we don't want to get too far into the adoption process on the off chance that this IVF works because I'm not sure we can pursue this type of adoption whist pregnant.

Take care!

These are great! You may have a problem prying guests out at the end of their visits:)

I can't see a closeup of the floorplan, but what I can make out in the little pic looks great!
Hope to see before and after photos sometime in the not-so-distant future!

First, a quietly whispered "Yay, and continued good luck" on being 4dp5dt (since we're not really talking about it today).

The plan drawings look so cool! I can see why you are excited...once you can see what the project will actually look like, it's fun to start planning all the details! And I love the idea of bright, cheerful and full of positive energy - much like you!

It is great to have a project to keep you mind off of things. It looks great. The colors sound fantastic especially with all the light it looks like you will have.

I'm finally catching up, so I have to tell you I'm SO excited that you have 2 on board, got the Top Doc and one penguin! :)

Hoping, wishing, and praying for you, Fran!

I love the drawings! It kind of makes me giggle because it makes your house look like a doll house. I bet you are so excited to get moving on this project. I hope you plan on posting pictures of the finished product. :)
